International Immunopharmacology emerged from the fusion of two journals, in January 2000, as the primary vehicle for the publication of original research and clinical studies on the physiological and pathological effects of pharmacologically active substances affecting immunity. This includes the overlapping areas of immunology, pharmacology, cytokine biology, immunotherapy, immunopathology and immunotoxicology. Pathologic conditions that the journal is focused on include cancer, immunodeficiency, chronic infection, transplantation situations and allergic, inflammatory or autoimmune disorders.
